Painting
"When I paint, I don’t have a specific plan in advance. The painting is created through reaction, exploration, and discovery. The result is uncertain – and that’s why the process itself is so fascinating to me. Every brushstroke opens up a new possibility.
Painting is a conversation between me and the painting. I listen to what appears before me and leave space for it. What appears remains revealed.
Mistakes are a natural part of the process. Some places disappear under new layers, shapes change, but nothing is truly lost. Previous layers and old decisions in the painting remain hidden. Each painting thus carries the secret of its own creation.
When I fully immerse myself in the work, I stop creating the painting. I just help it to appear. I forget about my own existence.
The painting is a pure manifestation of all past, present and future lives at one moment on one canvas. Without the existence"
